ReSound at a glance.
ReSound focuses on letting you choose what to hear. Rather than guessing which voice matters, its hearing aids lean on where you’re looking: face the person you want to hear and ReSound brings them forward.
ReSound also makes some of the smallest hearing aids we fit, and it works closely with Cochlear, so it’s a natural choice if you wear a cochlear implant on one side. If discretion matters to you, ReSound is worth hearing.
Why we fit ReSound hearing aids.
Part of GN, founded in 1869
ReSound belongs to GN, a Danish company with more than 150 years in communication technology.
First to stream from an iPhone
ReSound made the first hearing aid to stream from an iPhone. It also works with Cochlear implants.
Meet the Sensia.

Most hearing aids that fight noise end up boosting the loudest voice in the room. The trouble is, the loudest voice often isn't the one you're trying to follow.
ReSound built the Sensia to lift the voice you choose. Face the person you want to hear, and it brings their voice forward, all from what ReSound calls the world's smallest AI hearing aid.
Programmed to your own hearing test before you take it home.
What it's like to wear the Sensia.
- Hear who you're facingTurn toward the person you want to hear, and the Sensia focuses there.
- No program switchingIt recognizes where you are and turns on the right features by itself, so you don't have to remember to.
- All-day batteryUp to 24 hours on a charge in the rechargeable styles, even with noise reduction working in the background.
Pros and cons.
Who this one suits, and who’d be better off with another brand.
A good match if you are
- The person who wants it discreet. Small behind-the-ear and custom in-ear styles keep it out of sight.
- The person with an implant on one side. The bimodal version is made to work with it.
- The person who doesn't want to fiddle. It makes the listening decisions automatically.
Maybe not if you are
- The person in lively group talk where voices come from all sides. The Sensia focuses where you're facing, so it works best when you can turn toward the person you want to hear.

Is ReSound better than the other five you fit?
No single brand is best for everyone. The right one depends on your hearing, your ears and the places you find hardest to hear. We work with six leading hearing aid manufacturers and recommend based on your hearing test results.
Which ReSound model would you fit me with?
We decide that after your hearing test. We offer complimentary hearing evaluations in our office. Once we’ve seen your results and heard which situations are hardest for you, we’ll show you one or two models and explain why.
Can you reprogram ReSound hearing aids I bought somewhere else?
Yes. We reprogram, clean and repair hearing aids bought elsewhere. You don’t have to buy from us to be looked after here. Here’s how that works.
Will my insurance cover any of this?
We work with most insurance plans. Bring your card to your hearing test and we’ll check what yours covers, or call 407-949-6737 and ask first.
