Meet Our Hearing Aid Specialist
Jaysee A. Soto, HAS, BC-HIS
Jaysee Soto began his career in hearing healthcare in 2013 with one clear mission: to help people reconnect to the sounds of life through patient-centered care. After earning his state licensure and National Board Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences, he founded Altamonte Family Hearing to build a practice where Best Practices in hearing healthcare including validation and verification guide every step of the process.
Unlike large chain clinics that often prioritize speed and profit, Jaysee created a family-owned practice centered on quality, compassion, and measurable results. Every hearing solution is fit and verified with Real Ear Measurement (REM) and validated through electroacoustic analysis and ongoing patient feedback to ensure each patient hears their best. As a bilingual specialist fluent in English and Spanish, he proudly serves a diverse community and makes hearing healthcare accessible to all.
Outside the office, Jaysee enjoys traveling with his wife and daughters, endless trips to Disney world, exploring new technology, and continuing his mission to provide hearing care that is transparent, patient-focused, and grounded in best practices.
Real-ear Measurement
Real-ear measurement (REM) is a clinical test that ensures your hearing aids are precisely delivering the correct amplification for your unique ear and hearing loss. A small, specialized microphone is placed in your ear canal while the hearing aid is worn. This measures the actual sound reaching your eardrum in real time, allowing us to adjust the device so it matches your exact prescription. REM helps provide clearer speech, balanced sound, and the best possible hearing experience tailored specifically to you.
Electroacoustic Analysis
Electroacoustic analysis is a precise test that verifies your hearing aids are working exactly as the manufacturer intended. It measures sound output, amplification, and performance to ensure your devices deliver clear, accurate hearing before we fine-tune them for your ears.
